Charles J. Greenberg

Charles J Greenberg is the Health Sciences Library Director for the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey. Prior to this position, Charles was the Founding Library Director (2013-2019) for the Wenzhou-Kean University Library, situated in the city of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Prior to his appointment in China, Charles worked for the Harvey Cushing/John Hay Whitney Medical Library of Yale University (1998-2013). At Yale he co-founded and maintained the Yale School of Medicine’s Thesis Digital Library, a repository of medical student theses launched in 2002. Charles joined the NDLTD Board of Directors in 2011 after attending and presenting papers at ETD symposia since 2003. Charles currently serves as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Electronic Theses and Dissertations and Chair of the NDLTD Awards Committee. He also continues to submit papers and nominate unique & memorable student ETDs for awards. He nominated student award-winning theses for the 2004 and 2012 ETD annual symposia. Charlie presented a paper at ETD2018 in Taipei, Taiwan, on Dissertation Coaches and ETD Submissions. Charlie is also a part-time Lecturer for the iSchool at San Jose State University and is a Distinguished Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals.
